The X56 is one of the better known HOTAS but it's also known to be a bit unreliable, to have shadow key clicks, to have broken wires after a while of use. It's quite expensive if you consider the build quality.
I switched for the TM Warthog, it's full metal, highly reliable but also more expensive.
If you can't spend the additional bucks, the X56 is ok but it won't blow you away.
